The Early Medieval and Viking Age Research Group is a research cluster of academics, postdoctoral fellows and PhD scholars at UCD School of Archaeology, University College Dublin, all investigating different aspects of the archaeology, history and environments of early medieval Ireland, in the context of northwest Europe. EMVARG also has a Facebook group, membership of which is open to the public, which serves as a discussion and news forum on any aspect of the early Middle Ages, AD 400-1100.
